Fan Family Inc. was started in 1997 as a fan mail service and as home to Shawn Jay-Z Carter’s official fan club. Since then, Fan Family Inc. takes pride in providing music fans and students with opportunities to attend special events, entertainment workshops, college tours, concerts and more!

Fan Family acknowledges that many fans aspire to careers in the entertainment industry. Many fans only choose one of two careers, artist or producer, because they don't realize the vast array of career paths in the music industry. Fan Family fills in this gap by organizing bi-monthly workshops featuring music industry panelists. Topics include A&R, Production, Marketing & Promotions, Image Consulting/Stylists, and more. Fan Fam wants to fans' passions into careers!

College Tours | more
Fan Family understands the stress that comes along with applying for college and financial aid. To help alleviate some of this, we sponsor a Historically Black College and University Tour. This trip gives high school students a first-hand view of the college experience through campus visits and interaction with students and faculty. The tour gives both students and parent’s invaluable insight into the application process and each school's culture and assists participants in making of one of the biggest choices of their lives.
